The Tannery
The Tannery is a timber frame construction cladded with our brick panels.
The timber frame structure was battened out with deep treated timber battens. This then formed a cavity between the timber frame and the cladding.
The panels were then fixed to the battens using countersunk fixings.
After the joint bricks were installed the whole of the building was pointed using pre mixed M6 mortar mix.
Lightweight stone coated window surrounds were installed.
The Gable Ends had the panels cut around the roofline and flashings were fitted between the brick panels and the battens that extended under the roof tiles. This was then pointed using M6 mortar.
The panels were extended beyond the soffit and the joint between the soffit board and the brick tile was then sealed.
